Bye Me, Hello Me! #BeBrave #BeTruetoYourself #NeverGiveUp

A quite high-ranking fear is the fear of change, of the unknown. Human mind likes to feel in control, to be able to anticipate what’s coming. You probably have noticed how proud someone is when he or she anticipates a scenario and it happens.

Why? Because they feel safe as things have happened as they know they would; they feel validated as they were correct and they feel better than others as they were knew the truth before it happened.

Like I said in a previous post, we embark on our spiritual journey when we come into this world. Well before that actually, but in this post we’ll focus on what’s happening once on this planet. You might have noticed by now that it takes a while to become conscious about the spiritual journey.

Why, you might ask? Because it takes either a certain maturity to acknowledge that there’s more to life than what we know, than the physical.

Or we reach such a crisis that the only way out is by becoming aware, curious, open and willing to discover what more is there than the physical life. In either case, the fear of change, of the unknown becomes obsolete. We are no longer driven by it, but rather we turn it into a positive, into a curiosity that opens many new doors for us.

Beyond The Fear Of Change

We then discover things about us that change us in ways that surprise us in many pleasant ways and, which make letting go of the person we used to be a fun and interesting process.

Letting go of the person we used to be is a good thing. That person is the result of the moulding and shaping of those around us, who, with the best of their knowledge, imposed on us their beliefs, behaviours and truths. But the time comes for us to uncover who we truly are and discover our own beliefs, behaviours and truths.

#BeBrave #BeTrueToYourself and #NeverGiveUp the search.
