Before I realised that happiness is a choice, I used to think that it is a luxury. That it’s only at the hands of rich people, who spend their days sipping champagne on expensive yachts or travel the world in their private jets.

I’ve spent days and days drowning in my sorrow, complaining about how I was born unlucky and how I’m never going to be happy simply because I didn’t have all those things. Little did I know that there are people who actually have them but are less happy than most of us . . .
